Raja Academy's Kickboxing Camp incorporates the martial art of Muay Thai along with self discipline and an introduction to the culture of this great art. Your child will get a great workout while learning a few self defense moves in a fun and interactive way. Our kids classes are designed to instill core values that children need, and goes beyond teaching them to simply kick and punch. We boost confidence, self esteem, self discipline, and self respect while learning this boxing art. Students will get to learn the culture and art of Muay Thai Boxing and learn how to utilize there hands, feet, elbows and knees. ABOUT SIFU RAJA:
Sifu Raja as been studying the martial arts since the early childhood age of 5. He first embarked on the martial art of Wing Chun Kung Fu (which is the first art also introduced to the late Bruce Lee). He has received his black sash from his sifu out of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Sifu Al Zepeda. In addition, he is also working on receiving his black sash and is currently a red sash under Sifu Francis Fong out of Norcoss Atlanta from the Francis Fong Martial Art Academy. There he has received certification in other martial art forms as well. He continued his passion for the arts by taking on another discipline known as the art and sport of Muay Thai Kick Boxing at the age of 15. By 20, he had competed in 12 fights and had a short but good fighting career and became an instructor in Muay Thai. Along with certification in both Muay Thai and Wing Chun, Sifu Raja also instruct the Philippino weaponry art of Kali and MMA/Ground Fighting techniques from Brazilian Jui Jitsu. He has been teaching out of The Raja Academy of Martial arts, his school in Easley, as well as teaching privately at gyms for the past two years. He also has taught SWAT teams in combatives in his college years.
