High School Programs
We have been asked by a number of parents about our summer programs - We are currently working on a curriculum for these camps. As of now, it looks like they will come in groups of two weeks.
One soon after school lets out to review what may have been missed, and one shortly before school starts up again to prepare for the coming year! The dates are not yet set, so if you have any special requests, let us know and we'll try to cater to your desires!
As it stands today - March 24th, we are working the following which are subject to change as we plan out the weeks:
Write On! - Today, we're heavily into texting and instant messaging. Of course the spelling and grammar we use for these applications is horrible! Learn how to find enjoyment in writing and how to further increase your aptitude in writing - Taught by one of our High School English Teachers.
Algebra 1 Prep - Relatively self explanatory . . . but it is open to anyone who wants to be ready for Algebra 1
Algebra 2 Prep - Again, not much needs to be said, but it's open to all.
Geometry Prep - Open to anyone.
Book Club - Everyone has something they want to read over the summer. Join this group and meet once a week in the evening with one of the coolest high school English teachers in Greenville!
Basic Math Review for the SAT - Many of the concepts found on the SAT are relatively easy and believe it or not, you learned a lot of it in middle school or early high school. Come familiarize yourself with stuff you have forgotten and see how much easier it will be to get a score you can be proud of!
